Ohr Ami is a non-profit organization that supports the Jewish community in San Diego, CA.
The organization needed a symbol for people to be able to recognize it which is why I created the logo.
The logo represents help by portraying an extending hand in support of the the association. The message the logo is giving is to support each other in the community. By using a hand and the star of David, I show that those together strengthen humanity and in this specific case, the Jewish community. The logo was created to be easily recognizable and it gives a solution with the elements to create a trustworthy representative symbol. Blue and white colors were chosen to represent the Jewish community as in the Israeli flag.
